Dr Newson Discusses Covid, Oestrogen and the Immune System

Dr Louise Newson recently took part in an online discussion with Margaret O’Hara and Lesley MacNiven, two members of The Long Covid Support Group. Together, they spoke with Dr Ron Daniels, CEO of The UK Sepsis Trust all about Covid-19, oestrogen and the immune system.
The topics covered during this in-depth webinar include how Long Covid is affecting menstrual cycles as well as perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. Dr Newson speaks about oestrogen, the effect it can have on the immune system and therefore how it may have therapeutic benefits when it comes to Covid recovery and Dr Ron Daniels explains the similarities between Long Covid and post-sepsis syndrome.
