HRT Q&A – Dr Louise Newson and Ovarian Cancer Action UK

Dr Louise Newson recently teamed up with Ovarian Cancer Action UK to host an informative Q&A webinar. Together with OCA’s Cancer Prevention Officer Jo Stanford, Dr Newson addressed important topics about menopause and ovarian cancer and discussed all aspects of HRT and inherited cancer risk. 

There has already been some great feedback from the participants who tuned in to watch, with one woman saying; “Both the host and the expert were excellent speakers and superb advocates for women’s health. I can’t think of any way the session could be improved.”

Another viewer also spoke highly of the informative webinar, saying; “The session was fantastic. As someone with the BRCA2 mutation, I was refused HRT by my GP after my BSO (aged 48) but I now feel armed with the knowledge I need for my upcoming menopause clinic appointment.”
